Green Energy Tools helps users plan and evaluate commercial energy systems. I joined as an external UX consultant and developer to improve an existing, functional but difficult-to-navigate product.
The challenge was to turn dense data and inconsistent interactions into clear user flows. Guided forms, progressive disclosure and sensible defaults help new users get started, while experienced users retain access to the full detail.
